SORF Flange – Slip-On Raised Face

This slips over the pipe end and is welded on the top and bottom. It is easier to align than weld neck flanges. It is used where extreme strength is not needed.

WNRF Flange – Weld Neck Raised Face

This has a hub that is welded directly to the pipe. It provides strength. Helps with distribution. This is the choice for high-pressure lines.

BLRF Flange – Blind Raised Face

This has no bore. It seals off the end of a pipe. The valve opening is completely closed. It is used to close a line for testing or future expansion

SWRF Flange – Socket Weld Raised Face

The pipe fits into a socket. It is welded around the outside. It is commonly used in high-diameter, high-pressure piping.
